Ocean Chasm crystallised soy-ink print of RAW telescope data, clay and spirulina pigments
A wall-based sculptural work that explores the entanglements of earth and space, life and non-life through bio-geo-chemical relationships, particularly those that happen in the depths of the ocean. RAW telescope data manually processed using scientific software and then printed in soy inks, coloured with clay and spirulina (cyanobacteria) pigments and left in solutions to crystallise.
