Bennu in half, c-type print (3d print, dichroic mirror)

Created using 3d prints of radar-imaged asteroid Bennu and diachroic mirror, the work explores asteroids as fossil remnants of the creation of the solar system and how they are theorised as having delivered elements to earth that potentially kickstarted life: they are our origins.

Asserting our kinship and entwined ancestry with these cosmic entities through a body of interlinked works, I assert their significance in the face of looming human expansion into the outer space environment and extraction of its mineral resources.
