The dark side of the screen is a web based text work that interweaves edits from internet trolling, chat forums such as 4chan and dark tetrad personality tests to form a new narrative that poses as the sinister voice of the screen. The tetrad formation references the ‘dark tetrad of personality' equated with internet trolling and the shape of medi theorist Marshall McLuhan’s ‘tetrads of media effects’ to create a hypnotic mandala that offers a reflection on the dark mirror that is our screen.
